Juan Pulido, John Stinebaugh Earn Lip Chip Jockey, Trainer Honors With Big Week

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK–APRIL 24, 2024–Former top rider at Remington Park, Juan Pulido, and conditioner John Stinebaugh, were named Lip Chip Jockey and Trainer of the Week for their efforts April 18-21 at Remington Park.

Pulido, who won the riding title in 2021 at Remington Park with 46 wins for the meet, won 5-of-24 starts last week and finished in the money (first, second or third) in 11-of-24 times. The pinnacle of his big week came on Saturday night when he won three races.

Kue Tiz Due Upsets $82,466 Beehive Futurity In First Career Win Sunday at Weber Downs

OGDEN, UT–APRIL 21, 2024–Ninth-fastest qualifier Kue Tiz Due pulled a big upset in the $82,466 Beehive Futurity at Webber Downs Sunday when she defeated Jg Special Dynasty by a head to take home a winner's purse valued at $34,627.

Under jockey Ricardo Del Cid Kue Tiz Due broke well before taking the lead and then holding for a head win in the premier race of UQHRA's Spring Meet.

The daughter of leading third-crop sire Kvn Corona completed the 300-yard course in :15.471 seconds, equaling a 102-speed index into a 5 mph crosswind.
