OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—APRIL 29, 2024–Jockey Bryan Candanosa concluded a massive winning week by scoring the $854,775 Remington Park Futurity with Heavens Uncle on Monday.

It was the second futurity win for Candanosa in as many nights as he also took down the $161,600 American Paint Classic Futurity on Sunday with Painted to Be Quick.

He took five trips to the winner’s circle in the past 16 races over two days and his horses’ earnings this past week were $553,672. The next highest jockey for the week was Roman Cruz’s $179,521.

RUIDOSO DOWNS, NM–APRIL 28, 2024–Ruidoso Downs will host 39 schooling races over two days this week for 2-year-olds who remain eligible for the Ruidoso Triple Crown – Ruidoso QH Futurity(G1), Rainbow QH Futurity(G1) and All American Futurity(G1).

One hundred two-year-olds will compete in 20 races on Monday (April 19) and 95 are scheduled to debut in 19 races on Tuesday (April 30). All schooling races will be contested over a distance of 250 yards.
